Lamborghini built the Huracan Performante to be fast. It’s even in the name. 29 hp more than the stock car for a total of 640, combined with a fatter power curve means a 10.4-second quarter mile, and 6 minutes, 52 seconds on the Nürburgring. Now Underground Racing has made the Performante even more performant.
That’s thanks to a twin-turbo upgrade to the 5.2L V10. What does adding a pair of hair dryers to an already nutty engine net you? Well, Underground isn’t saying…Yet.
But take a look at their site and you’ll get an idea. Their twin-turbo upgrades to the “regular” Huracan start at 800 wheel hp, and go up to 1,000 hp on the stock engine. Buy their highly internally modified engine and they’re advertising 2,200 wheel horsepower on race gas.
Underground said that the twin-turbo Performante’s Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva active-aero system is still intact, adding load to aid stability – which the owner of this monster will need – or reducing drag to improve acceleration – which the owner won’t.
