Nothing I have ever said, done, or written has ever been or ever will be as entertaining as listening to Tony Quinn describe (in NSFW language) his off-road adventure in a Lamborghini Huracan.
Quinn is racing in the Targa Tasmania and on his way to start of the Sideling stage of the Targa, on day 2 of competition, he drove his Highlands Supercar Fast Dash Lamborghini Huracan up onto a grassy bank kicking up dirt and briefly putting the car on two wheels.
Whereas some people just admit that they screwed up, Quinn took a different approach. “It was great … I meant to do it. It was deliberate,” he says to an interviewer. Quinn then goes on to explain that he knew the cameras would be on him, knew that there were about 40 people watching, and said “Watch this,” the universal signal that something is about to go deeply wrong.
Fortunately for everyone, things didn’t really go that wrong. The car was fine, Quinn and his co-driver were fine, and they even finished top of their class that day.
