Amarok Update Revealed in New Design Drawings

Design sketches for the latest Amarok update have been revealed by Volkswagen and the brand is saying that it will go on sale in the UK later this year.

The regrettably non-American, though not at all un-American, Amarok gets new styling all over, with a grille that’s more in line with current VW design language. The body meanwhile, features the chunky lines of a capable off-roader.

VW say they were aiming for a more athletic design to emphasize the power of their pick-up. The truck will be 5.25 meters long (17.2 ft) and 2.23 meters wide (7.3 ft), with 2.52 sq meters of cargo capacity in the bed (27 sq ft).

The new version will also come with a modified instrument panel, which features the strong horizontal lines that are fast becoming a VW staple.

Audi Teases A7 Details with New Video

Audi’s gearing up to unveil the latest iteration of the A7, and to get you excited they’ve released this teaser video focusing on the details. The lights, the lines, the interior are all teased here, and though on its own the video doesn’t give us a strong sense of what the whole car will look like, with all of the other details we’ve seen so far we now have a pretty good sense of what’s coming. As you might expect, the updated A7 will look broadly similar to the outgoing A7, but will differ in the details. Based on what we’ve seen, the changes look good. As was reported yesterday, we’re expecting a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo, a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, and an RS7 that could reportedly make up to 700 hp thanks to the Porsche Panamera’s hybrid drivetrain.
