Video: Complete Rally Portugal Recap by Volkswagen Motorsport

Volkswagen Motorsport pushed the limits to achieve a perfect 1-2-3 finish at this year’s Rally Portugal, but a press release and some pictures only tell so much of the tale. Luckily for those among us who weren’t able to watch the event live, Volkswagen has uploaded day-by-day recaps of the event to their YouTube channel.

In takin gin the sights and sounds of Rally Portugal, it’s quite clear that the entire Volkswagen Motorsport team worked incredibly hard to achieve their results. It also seems that while he would have rather seen himself as overall winner, Sebastien Ogier was genuinely excited to see his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala finish atop the poduim.

World Rally action picks back up in Italy in just one week’s time.

Project Golf SportWagen- Intro

I’ve never really been one for SUVs and crossovers. The current offerings aren’t the body-on-frame, go-anywhere specialty tools I remember from my youth, and what they lack in capability, they also lack in on-road performance.
