Revealed late last year, the special Lamborghini Huracan gifted to Pope Francis for charity will be auctioned off in May.
The RM Sotheby’s Monaco auction on May 12 will host the one-of-a-kind Huracan and it will be offered without reserve. The auction house’s website is only offering estimates upon request, but it should fetch a sizable amount.

One of those is the reconstruction of the Nineveh Plain under the patronage of the Pontifical Foundation “Aiuto alla Chiesa che Soffre,” which means Aid to the Church in Need. The auction will also benefit the Pope John XXIII Community, which is dedicated to helping women who are victims of trafficking and other abuses.
Two other Italian associations, GICAM and Amici per il Centrafica (Friends for Central Africa), which carry out activities mainly in Africa including aid to women and children in need, will also benefit.
The Huracan RWD was created in homage to the Vatican, paying tribute to the colors of the flag of Vatican City with Bianco Monocerus paint with Giallo Tiberino accents.
