Although Volkswagen has yet to reveal its official numbers for 2017, the Group is expected to remain the world’s biggest automaker in 2017.
A report from a German paper citing VW’s in-house estimates has the company delivering 10.7 million vehicles in 2017, which put it above Toyota (10.35 million) in terms of sales.
The result was aided by record sales from many of the group’s brands, including Audi, Porsche, and even VW.
Revenue, as a result of all those sales, is expected to have also increased to more than 220 billion Euros, 3 billion more than 2016’s figure.
We’ll find out for sure, whether the estimates are accurate when VW publishes them later this month.
