AWE RELEASES NEW AIRGATE CARBON INTAKE LINE, BEGINS WITH MQB PLATFORM

AWE announced this week the release of a new carbon fiber intake line called  “AirGate”, starting with the new MQB AirGate™ Carbon Intake for VW and Audi MQB vehicles. The products feature a unique “convertible” design that allows user-changeable sound and performance levels.

“VW and Audi owners wanted more sound, and they wanted more options. That’s where the AirGate™ line was born. You’ll be seeing a lot more AirGate™ products from AWE, as we aim to meet both the sound and performance needs of the enthusiast market,” stated Jesse Kramer, VP of Marketing at AWE.

Overview of the AWE MQB AirGate™ Carbon Intake:

T-Prime Makes World Premiere at Beijing

With the new T-Prime Concept GTE that was revealed today, the company is showing off all of the technology you can look for in its coming models. The T-Prime is a full-size hybrid SUV that can go up to 31 miles on a charge and gets 87 mpg. The hybrid power station is good for 375 hp and 516 lb/ft of torque and puts the power down with 4MOTION all wheel drive. It’ll get you up to 60 in six seconds. The concept’s real party piece, though, is its interior, which features exclusively touch, gesture, and voice controls.
