Spied: 5th Gen SEAT Ibiza

SEAT’s best-selling model, the Ibiza, is due for an upgrade, and photographers have caught the Polo-based supermini out testing in the rain.

Although the car looks like a small version of the SEAT Leon, it’s actually a slightly bigger Ibiza in disguise.

The new Ibiza will come with a range of new gas and diesel engines, and will debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall.

Following the Ibiza’s release, SEAT enthusiasts are anticipating a new, small, Ibiza based SUV—much like Volkswagen’s Polo-based SUV—and a hotter Cupra version after that. Some are even anticipating an all-electric version of the Ibiza in the future.
