Wheelies in all-wheel-drive cars are probably not great, since it means that two of the driven wheels aren’t putting down their power. But that doesn’t stop them from being rad.

This TT R30 Turbo makes more than 1,300 hp, which might explain why it launches so hard. And even though it bunny hops for the first little bit, it still crosses the quarter-mile in just 7.8 second. That’s a record according to the video and explains why the people in the video are so happy.

Records notwithstanding, watching a TT pop a wheelie is weird and wonderful.

When we last left you, the humble little SportWagen was fresh from the development process with our friends at AWE Tuning, sporting a new downpipe, exhaust and intake, allowing things to breathe a bit easier.
