Volkswagen is recalling as many as 700,000 vehicles for a problem with the ambient lighting in the panoramic sunroofs of the Tiguan and the Touran.
The worldwide recall is due to a possible issue with the LED lights in the sunroof that could, in extreme cases, catch fire, reports Kfz-Betrieb.
The issue revolves around humidity that can collect near the lights and cause a short.
Volkswagen is currently working on a solution and roughly 52,500 cars are being recalled in Germany alone.
