When VW reveals the T-Roc on August 23, we’ll certainly know what they intended to make. That’s because VW has revealed a new design sketch of the diminutive SUV on its Twitter feed.
Drawn in a bright red with a black roof, the T-Roc at least looks like it won’t fall into the grey-silver-black trap of modern vehicles.

Honking big wheels, though, are classic concept nonsense. Lovely though they look, they’ll sadly never make it to production.
The grille, too, looks good, but based on the camouflaged concepts we’ve seen in spy pictured, will also be toned down somewhat.
The T-Roc is based on the MQB platform, so it should feel like any other modern VW, albeit higher off the ground.
VW has ruled out a GTI version of this roughly Golf-sized crossover but hasn’t ruled out an R version.
