There are Already 100 Bugatti Chirons in the World

The 100th Bugatti Chiron has rolled off the assembly line and is heading to a customer in the Middle East.

The milestone supercar is a great display of just how personalized a Chiron can get straight from the factory. The exterior body consists entirely of dark blue carbon fiber, topped with a matte finish for the very first time. The iconic Bugatti side line has been painted a contrasting Italian red, while the wheels in mink black are a menacing touch.

Inside the cabin, the contrasting red scheme continues with a full leather interior dominated by the shade. The French automaker said the 100th Bugatti Chiron cost about €2.85 million ($3.34 million USD).

Bugatti said production of the Chiron is running at full speed, with the company producing about 70 units per year. The Bugatti Chiron will be limited to 500 units, so expect a few more years of production.

“I find the 100th Chiron especially pleasing. It is dynamic and elegant in equal measure,” said Stephan Winkelmann, president of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. “This car shows that Bugatti produces highly individualized masterpieces of automobile craftsmanship that are simply unparalleled.

Project SportWagen: Going Stage 2 with APR

Audi Teases A7 Details with New Video

Audi’s gearing up to unveil the latest iteration of the A7, and to get you excited they’ve released this teaser video focusing on the details. The lights, the lines, the interior are all teased here, and though on its own the video doesn’t give us a strong sense of what the whole car will look like, with all of the other details we’ve seen so far we now have a pretty good sense of what’s coming. As you might expect, the updated A7 will look broadly similar to the outgoing A7, but will differ in the details. Based on what we’ve seen, the changes look good. As was reported yesterday, we’re expecting a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo, a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, and an RS7 that could reportedly make up to 700 hp thanks to the Porsche Panamera’s hybrid drivetrain.
