VWvortex’s own Will Barber is on the ground at the 2016 New York International Auto Show and thanks to him we have pictures of some of the most exciting cars that Volkswagen has to offer. Of course, the usual suspects are there: the GTI, the Jetta, the Tiguan, and more. But VW have also brought along some of their special editions, like their toughest new creation, the Golf Alltrack.
Volkswagen are also featuring the Beetle Dune, another tough car designed to go where others can’t, and the Tiguan GTE, a hybrid electric off-roader.
Also on prominent display is the Budd-e concept, making its U.S. auto show debut. The futuristic van borrows design cues from the Microbus and shows off VW’s new Modular Electric Toolkit. Volkswagen claim that is what electric mobility could look like in as little as three years.
