500HP Rallye Golf Back Climbing the Hills of Italy

Karl Schagerl has been racing his Rallye Golf TFSI R since 2011 and videos of his exploits have been finding their way onto the internet for about as long. That’s because the Golf is a pretty special homologation that has been modified to reach a claimed 520HP.

In the video below Schagerl was at a Hill Climb in Verzegnis, in the north east of Italy. There, in the Italian hills, Schagerl drifts around switchbacks, spits flames, and rips around in his gorgeous Golf. His life must be so hard.

This same Golf featured on the site two years ago in a rainier video that you can watch here. Videos of the Verzegnis Hill Climb are also abundant and worth watching.
