From Miami to all ABT Enthusiasts in the United States and Canada – 10% Anniversary Discount for all customers from April 16th to 30th 2018

Since April 2017, when ABT Sportsline set up their official office in Miami (Florida) to build up the worldwide renowned brand on the North American market, the German company has already attracted a lot of attention from customers and dealers alike.

Just to outline a few successes: ABT joined forces with Vossen Wheels, one of the trendsetting wheel brands in the industry, to create a very special and strictly limited SUV, the Audi Q7 ABT Vossen 1 of 10 which was presented to the public as a world premiere around SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nevada) in November 2017.

The Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler Team won the 2017 championship in Formula E with driver Lucas Di Grassi, especially remembering the races in Brooklyn in front of the impressive New York skyline. So ABT’s claim “From the racetrack onto the road” is more adequate than ever.

A lot of dealers from the United States, Canada and Mexico already wanted to become distributors for parts from the global market leader when it comes to enhancing cars produced by Audi and VW to better serve the customers’ needs. For 2018 ABT will continue to expand aggressively across North America. Bjoern Marek, former Head of Public Relations at ABT Sportsline in Germany and strongly connected to the brand for years, is supervising these steps from Miami, Florida. “I am happy to have Bjoern as our person in charge for North America”, says ABT CEO Hans-Juergen Abt, “He knows the market situation well and is the right person for our further expansion.”

From April 16th to 30th 2018 ABT will offer its customers a special anniversary discount of 10% on all orders to celebrate the successful first year of our brand in North America. Offer not valid for limited edition cars like the ABT RS5-R, ABT TT RS-R and Abt Vossen Q7 1 of 10.

Our Warranty

All our ABT parts come with a warranty of 4 years or 100,000 miles. Installing parts like aerodynamics or wheels will not void the factory warranty of the car.

Review: Saying Goodbye to the CC V6

For all its size and its global reach, Volkswagen is still, in many ways, a deeply human company. There was, for instance, the Bugatti Veyron an ego project if ever there was one. Then the purchase of Ducati, a move most called folly. And then there was the Phaeton, the Volkswagen that most folks can’t afford. Not only were these moves all strange, I’m sure that they made VW’s accountants furious. None of them made good business sense, but they were all deeply interesting and they all are evidence of the heart that beats at the center of VW. Among these follies is the CC, a car that everyone agrees is rakishly handsome, but that no one really wanted to buy. The car couldn’t last, but the world is brighter for its having been in it. With the approach debut of the Arteon, it seems like a good time to look back on its sadly departing predecessor. The version I drove, because I live in Canada, is a V6 Wolfsburg Edition, which apparently isn’t available in the States. Nor is the V6, not as

Waterfest Moves to Atco Dragway

Waterfest 24 will be held at Atco Dragway, in Atco, New Jersey. The summer event will take place at its new venue on July 21 and 22. Long held in Englishtown, New Jersey, the festival has been such a large part of the VW scene that the latest iteration of the Golf even comes with optional “Englishtown” wheels . The new venue, however, is an NHRA drag track a scant 52 miles southwest of Englishtown. The ¼ mile drag track opened in 1960, which makes it the oldest drag strip in New Jersey. The announcement came today on a social media post that announced the new location. Waterfest is North America’s largest VW/Audi show. As many 20,000 people show up for the annual show, making the second largest show in the world—with Worthersee being number one. 2018 will be Waterfest’s 24 th year in existence.
