For just a few short years, Volkswagen made a glorious VR6-powered all-wheel-drive New Beetle.
There were only 250 of the ultra-limited RSi made, and it was only sold in Europe. It came with 18-inch OZ wheels, a Remus dual exhaust, 221 hp, and a suspension that was tuned for the track. Outside, it had a new bumper with big intakes and wider wheel arches. Plus that big rear wing. Inside it had carbon, aluminum, and Recaro race seats.
You might not remember the car, but it’s still the coolest of all New Beetles. To give you a glimpse, here’s a Beetle RSi on the Nurburgring.
Extra points for the Herbie livery!
