Although the TT RS was only announced in 2016, it looks like Audi Sport is already working on an update for this little fire breather.
Our spy photographers have caught a facelifted TT RS testing out in the wild and even though it’s camouflaged, there are some visual updates we can see.
For starters, the grille looks a little wider, while the headlights look a little slimmer—though that may be a trick of the eye as a result of the camouflage.
These headlights certainly do have a new LED strip for the DRLs and the side sills have grown.
‘Round back, the taillights have a new design and it looks like there are some changes happening to the back bumper.
Based on the car’s grille and wing, it’s believed this is a development mule for the TT RS, however, it’s conspicuously missing the characteristic oval tailpipes, complicating the situation, oval piped TT mules were also spotted but they didn’t have the matching rear wing.
Interior updates are also likely and there’s always the potential for more power, though the 400 hp TT RS could never be accused of wanting for more.
