We’ve quickly become fans of the European Hillclimb Championship due to it’s mix of high power naturally-aspirated engines and purpose-built wide body kits. But we’ve always wondered what would happen if you put one of these high strung cars on a traditional circuit track with little elevation change. Thankfully a video showing just that has appeared on YouTube, and unsurprisingly enough, the results are quite good.
Watch the clip above as this 16 valve powered Mk1 Scirocco blasts around Modena Circuit, and be sure to turn the speakers up- there’s nothing quite like the sound produced by a 16 valve with individual throttle bodies.
