Although Volkswagen’s woes are far from over in America, there is some good news for the brand this month, as November sales rose by nearly 25% as compared to last year.
Far from a record, VW moved more than 29,000 cars last month, with the Jetta accounting for more than a third of those deliveries.
The Golf family also performed well, with sales increasing by more than 50% to 6,484 deliveries. The Passat, though, was among the most improved. With more than 6,000 Passats delivered last month, that amounts to an increase of 133%.
The monthly increase, though, wasn’t enough to make up for a year of dealing with TDI scandal. VW sales for the year to date are still 10% lower than they were in 2015.
