Audi RS6 Wagon Bids Farewell With Special Nogaro Edition

A new Audi A6 is scheduled to arrive next year, which means the current-generation model has to go out with a bang.

The German automaker has announced the RS6 Avant Nogaro Edition, packing 695 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque while being limited to just 150 units. The bad news? Only Germany will get to enjoy the RS6 Avant Nogaro Edition, as it won’t be heading to any other markets. For North Americans, this is hardly a surprise since the standard RS6 Avant isn’t even sold in the U.S. or Canada.

Along with additional performance from the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, Audi has spiced up the interior with exclusive leather upholstery with blue Alcantara on the knee pads, seat center panel, and door panels. There’s also contrast stitching throughout the cabin, while the headliner has been redone in Alcantara with blue decorative stitching.

The Nogaro Edition earns its name from the iconic Nogaro Blue exterior paint, the color made famous by Audi’s original wagon, the RS2.

Built in collaboration with Audi tuner ABT Sportsline, pricing starts at around 124,200 euros ($154,400 USD) for the standard version, and 130,000 euros ($161,600) if you want the blue accents throughout the car. Of course, being a limited production car, each unit comes with an individually numbered plaque.

PZM 73rd Rally Poland Kicks Off

The WRC is in Poland and after only one stage there are three Volkswagens in the top five. Today’s special stage at the Mikolajki Arena is the first stage, but the rally doesn’t begin in earnest until Friday. Today’s super special stage was less than two minutes long, and less than a second separates the top five drivers.
