Tanner Foust Drifting in Atlanta Right Now

This is a busy year for Tanner Foust. That TV show that he does, Top Gear America, is back on the History Channel and he’s racing a Beetle in Red Bull’s rally cross series. So his time is fairly limited. Despite that, he’s still making time to drift in three Formula D events this year and this weekend will be his first.

Today and tomorrow, Foust will be drifting his 900 hp Formula Drift Passat around Road Atlanta and you can stream it live at formulad.com.

Road Atlanta is a historic track for Formula Drift, since it was the location of the Formula D event way back in 2004.

Qualifying started at 3:45 today and is going on until 6:45. The Top 16 racing will then commence at 8:45. The action starts again tomorrow at 2:30, with the Main Competition starting at 8:00 pm.

Foust will also be racing in Seattle on August 5-6 and in Texas on September 9-10.

PZM 73rd Rally Poland Kicks Off

The WRC is in Poland and after only one stage there are three Volkswagens in the top five. Today’s special stage at the Mikolajki Arena is the first stage, but the rally doesn’t begin in earnest until Friday. Today’s super special stage was less than two minutes long, and less than a second separates the top five drivers. Hyundai Motorsport’s Thierry Neuville tops the charts today, followed closely by Volkswagen’s Andreas Mikkelsen. Sebastien Ogier and Jari-Matti Latvala are in fourth and fifth, respectively. Expect Ogier to climb the rankings, though. Not only did he win the rally last year, he has won every year since 2013.
