New German Performance Releases Type I Coilover System for MQB Platform Cars

New German Performance now offers their Type I Coilover System for the MQB-platform MK7 Golf, Jetta, GTI, and Golf R, as well as the 8V Audi A3 and S3. NGP’s Type I Coilover System has been engineered with rough American roads in mind, that translates to a “Best of Both Worlds” suspension system: The Type I’s offer a smooth ride across a wide range of driving conditions but remain ready and able for any aggressive driving you can throw at them.

The MQB Type I Coilovers utilize the same high-quality components found in all NGP Type I and Type II coilover systems to date. These Type I’s offer ride height adjustments from 30mm-65mm (1.2″ to 2.5″), progressive-rate front and rear springs, and are zinc plated for maximum corrosion resistance.

PZM 73rd Rally Poland Kicks Off

The WRC is in Poland and after only one stage there are three Volkswagens in the top five. Today’s special stage at the Mikolajki Arena is the first stage, but the rally doesn’t begin in earnest until Friday. Today’s super special stage was less than two minutes long, and less than a second separates the top five drivers. Hyundai Motorsport’s Thierry Neuville tops the charts today, followed closely by Volkswagen’s Andreas Mikkelsen. Sebastien Ogier and Jari-Matti Latvala are in fourth and fifth, respectively. Expect Ogier to climb the rankings, though. Not only did he win the rally last year, he has won every year since 2013.
