With the show that Canadian attendees at major US events like Waterfest (more specifically during Afterfest) and H20, we’ve long wondered what the scene would be like if they had home field advantage. Luckily for us, Eurokracy has emerged as the go-to Canadian destination for all things European, and as you’d expect, things are just a bit crazier north of the boarder.
This year’s event saw a change of venue, moving to the ICAR Experience, allowing for 1/4 mile drag racing, time attack, exotic car rental, and just about anything else you can imagine. Thousands of attendees from both sides of the boarder and as far as Europe flocked to the new location, making Eurokracy not just Canada’s largest Volkswagen/Audi show, but also the country’s largest European Auto event.
Those in attendance were treated to more than a few noteworthy builds and oddities, including F&F Fabrication’s twin Beetle burnout special and Beetle swimming pool, and Scale Suspension/AirDynamiks’ LS1-swapped Porsche 993, complete with a RWB-style widebody kit.
