AWE Tuning Releases Anticipated Volkswagen Mk7 Golf R Exhaust Suite

AWE Tuning has announced their Volkswagen Golf R Exhaust Suite. The product line will launch featuring two exhaust editions, and two downpipe versions. Each product, as well as combinations will feature AWE Tuning’s industry leading No Check Engine Light Guarantee, Fitment Guarantee and lifetime warranties. The product suite contains 26 variations, which encompasses value-packages of exhausts and downpipes.

“The R has always been one of our favorite platforms. The AWE Tuning Exhaust Suite for the Golf R not only gives owners a more aggressive sound, but throws down an impressive 17 hp and 23 ft-lbs of torque at the crank. ItalDesign is drumming up excitement for its new supercar based around the same 5.2-liter Audi V10 that powers the R8. Naturally, it hit the road for a cruise around California last week to celebrate Monterey Car Week. There isn’t much in the way of V10 noise—which is a real shame given the sound it makes—but you do at least get a good look at the car inside and out in this video.
