H2O has come and gone, and as much as it pains me to admit it, Daylight Savings Time is just weeks away. For those among us with solid garage space and a decent amount of ambition, this means that it’s time to get cracking on those winter projects. And today’s Find of the Day would make for an impressive one, or simply be a turn-key driver, depending on the new owner’s preference.
As a one-owner Washington DC-based car for the last 31 years, this Rabbit L could just be the ideal starting point for someone who is light on time, and not afraid to spend a few bucks to get an extremely clean car. Currently available on Staten Island at Land Rover specialty shop Rover Classic, the 84,000 original mile Diesel-powered Rabbit L is one of the nicest examples we’ve seen, with clean paint and a completely crack-free dash. Add to that the extensive maintenance performed at the dealer, and this Mk1 seems to not only be a solid starting point, but could also be just fine staying as-is.
This Rabbit L is currently for sale on eBay Motors, at a Buy It Now price of $6,500. Considering the condition and recent maintenance, it’s definitely worth the asking price.
Check out the full for sale ad here, and thanks to Rico for the tip!
