Sébastien Ogier and Polo R WRC to Take on Challenge from Gameshow Contestant

Spectacular appearance on Saturday night show on German TV World Champion Ogier and the Polo R WRC in action in final outside challenge An unusual outing for the World Champion – Sébastien Ogier and the Volkswagen Polo R WRC will face a very special challenge on the ZDF show “Wetten, dass…?” (“You Bet”) on Saturday evening. Sébastien Ogier will take on Jakob Vöckler (21) from Munich on the very last episode of the hugely popular Saturday night show. The trainee sports teacher has bet that he can be quicker than the World Rally Champion over a unique special stage. In his capacity as a member of the Group Board of Management, Diess will take over as Chairman of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand from Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, who remains Chairman of the Group Board of Management. In the context of this appointment the new function of “Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Passenger Cars” is to be set up in the Group Board of Management.
