A few weeks ago we shared pictures of the A6 Avant testing in Europe, and now we have pictures of its hotter sibling, the S6 Avant testing in similar conditions.
The cars don’t differ enormously, but certain details hint at its sportier nature. Twin tailpipes, for example, are the first giveaway, while (what look like) bigger wheels and a more aggressive grille are further indications of this car’s power.
Naturally, a bump in power is expected, but no bump in displacement is expected. The S6 Avant is rumored to drop the V8 of the current generation for the 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 out of the RS5.
Like the new A6, the S6 Avant should drop some weight, too, thanks to the latest evolution of the MLB platform.
