The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo does not trade in easy harmony and cheap beauty. It finds the baroque delicacy of other so-called hypercars disdainful. A sign of the weakness born of warmer climes.
The Vision Gran Turismo, instead, is hard and discordant and the engine burbles irregularly. It doesn’t sound like a wailing stringed instrument. No, it sounds more like a corps of medieval war drums.
It’s not even especially pretty. It’s basically just a Chiron, but where that’s all rounded lines and soft edges, the Vision Gran Turismo goes full on Gothic with the flying buttress spoiler and the spartan interior.
Bugatti designed the Vision GT for the Gran Turismo racing game for the Play Station. This video was taken last weekend at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy.
